Al Haramain L’aventure Eau De Parfum Spray is a chypre fruity fragrance that was released in 2016. It is widely know as a Creed Aventus clone.
This fragrance is often overlooked because of the hype that Club De Nuit Intense Man receives. In my book, that makes this an underrated fragrance.
Even if you ignore the clone factor, this is an all around nice fragrance to own, especially for the money.

What Does L’Aventure Smell Like?
L’Aventure EdP spray smells like a fresh citrus and woody fragrance. It has an opening of light lemon and bergamot. It dries down into a fresh woody scent with synthetic lemon and musk.

Middle Notes: Woods, Jasmine, Lily of The Valley
Base Notes: Musk, Amber, Patchouli
My Review
The opening has a light and synthetic scent of lemon. It is not a realistic citrus scent like you would get from a Dolce & Gabbanna fragrance. It isn’t too harsh though. After 10 minutes, the scent turns into woody and nutty notes. There is a touch of smokiness underneath.
The dry down is similar to Aventus. It has a mix of fruity notes combined with birch and musk.
This is a solid smelling fragrance, and I like how it smells. If you are not sure what Aventus smells like, then this is a more beginner friendly version. The more fruity forward notes stand out with the birch and smoke lingering in the background. This is truly an underrated clone of Aventus.
Longevity And Projection
L’Aventure EdP lasts 8 hours. It also has great projection. You will get some compliments from this because it leaves a nice scent trail. The scent trail smells like spicy pepper and fruit. While it may not be as strong as other Creed Aventus clones, it does a solid job, especially for the price.
Overall, the longevity of this cologne is really good, especially considering the price point. It performs like a $100 designer fragrance.
When Should You Wear L’Aventure?
This can be worn for almost any occasion. I prefer to wear this in the spring and summer. The fruity notes really shine in warmer weather. It does not have the projection like similar fragrances to cut through the winter wind. This is a solid choice for both casual and formal situations.
Due to the style of this scent, it is fairly versatile, and it can be worn for most occasions.
Packaging And Presentation
The bottle is square and silver. The silver is reflective and a fingerprint magnet. There is a clear opening on one of the corners so that you can see the fragrance inside the bottle. The top of the cap is silver with “Al Haramain” etched into it.
The cap is also square and it has a black rubber piece around it. I don’t mind the bottle, and it is better than a lot of Middle Eastern fragrance bottles.
The box is a nice touch and matches the bottle. It opens up to reveal the bottle inside which fits snuggly.

Should You Buy L’Aventure?
If you are looking for an affordable fruity fragrance, then you should buy V’Aventure EdP. If you are a fan of the fruity batches of Creed Aventus, then you should pick this up as well. This will remind you of some of the earlier batches that had more of a citrus and pineapple scent.
L’Aventure is very affordable at $25 a bottle.
