Lattafa Asad Elixir Review

Asad Elixir was released in October of 2025 by Lattafa Perfumes.

Review

The opening is warm, spicy and sophisticated. For the price, it is a good quality scent. This is intense, masculine and spicy. If you look at the mid and base notes, you can tell that this is a deep and earthy scent. The dry down is a little more resinous and balsamic so it is slightly more earthy. It does have a little vanilla sweetness and some citrus, so it is softened up a bit. If you can imagine a resinous fragrance with a touch of vanilla and leather, that is what this fragrance smells like. Asad Elixir is similar to Boss Bottled Absolu, so if you are familiar with that fragrance, you should like this one. If you have the original, it will not be redundant to get the Elixir. While the new one has some slight similarities, it definitely does its own thing.

Asad Elixir is strong in both projection and longevity. While performance can vary for each person, 8 to 10 hours should be around average. You will also command attention when you walk into a room because it has really good projection.

This is a great fragrance that is suitable for an evening out or a special occasion. You can wear it to the office, but only if you want everyone on your floor smelling you consistently all day long. It is more suitable for cooler weather, but if you do not overspray, it could work for warmer weather.
